This issue may occur due to corrupted/missing/outdated printer driver or due to incorrect printer settings.
Let’s follow the below mentioned steps and check if that helps:
Method 1: I would suggest you to download and install all the available Windows updates including optional updates for devices.
Try method 2, if the issue persist
Method 2: I would suggest you to install latest printer driver from the manufacturer website and check if that helps. As there may not be Windows 10 drivers available in the Printer Manufacturer website, I would suggest you to install the driver in compatibility mode for previous version of Windows.
To install the printer driver in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps:
1.Download the latest printer driver for Windows 8.1 from the manufacturer’s support website and save it on your local disk.
2.Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3.Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select theoperating system which was previously installed on the computer (eg: Windows 7 or 8.1) from the drop down list.
5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
